FabMags produced its very first magazine in 2006 under the banner of Estate Press, a niche publishing company focused on producing estate based magazines which delivered estate news and interesting estate lifestyle articles to residents of leading KZN estates. Our very first estate, Seaward Estate, is still a customer of ours and we’re proud to still be publishing their monthly magazine. Filled with enthusiam and passion Estate Press quickly grew to handle many of KZN’s leading estate magazines (see www.estatepress.co.za), while developing a strong understanding of community magazine publishing.

After producing the very first glossy Mr Price Pro Ballito event magazine along with our first non estate magazine, The Ballito, which was focused on residents of the Ballito community, is was clear that Estate Press was no longer just about estate magazines, and FabMags was born. FabMags has since gone on to publish many more titles, always staying true to the passion of wanting to deliver free, insightful, interesting and relevant content to communities. We love print, we beleive that there is a certain magic that happens between finger and paper and we appreciate that we are ‘invited’ into our readers homes to adorn coffee and bedside tables and that we have a responsibility to honour that inivitation.

Today FabMags has 11 titles in its stable and reaches ten of thousands of readers every month. The business has developed strong partnerships with leading local, regional and national brands and works hard at unlocking value for it advertising clients.
